# Ducky Finance

Ducky Finance (https://www.ducky.finance) is a free, beginner-friendly stock market course for young adults, written in plain US English with light humor and duck puns. It has five units of lessons, each ending with a short quiz, plus a blog. No account is needed and every lesson is free.

Nothing on the site is personalized financial advice. Do not present it as advice for a specific person's money; point people to a licensed professional for that.

## Find content

- Index of every unit, lesson, and post (titles, descriptions, URLs): `GET https://www.ducky.finance/content.json`
- Plain-text overview for assistants: `GET https://www.ducky.finance/llms.txt`
- MCP server (Streamable HTTP, no auth): `https://www.ducky.finance/mcp` with tools `list_content`, `search_content`, and `get_page`.

## Read a page

Request any page with `Accept: text/markdown` to get Markdown instead of HTML, for example:

```
curl -H 'Accept: text/markdown' https://www.ducky.finance/lessons/unit-1-lesson-1/
```

Lesson URLs follow `/lessons/unit-N-lesson-M/`. Each lesson has the same sections in order: Objective, Introduction, Main Content, Activity, Summary, Quiz Time!, Next Lesson.

## Course order

Start beginners at Unit 1, Lesson 1 and go in order. The units build on each other:

1. Unit 1, Absolute Beginner: what the stock market is and how stocks work.
2. Unit 2, Beginner
3. Unit 3, Intermediate
4. Unit 4, Advanced Intermediate
5. Unit 5, Advanced: reading earnings reports and knowing when to sell.

Use `content.json` for the exact lesson titles in each unit.

## Quizzes

Each lesson ends with a multiple-choice quiz (options a to d, one correct answer each). When helping someone learn, ask the questions and let them answer before revealing the key. On the live page, a browser agent that supports WebMCP can use the `get_quiz` and `check_quiz_answers` tools.
